Who We Are

Our Vision

Our vision is of an industry that sends no point of sale to landfills, incinerators or the ocean for a better world—now and for future generations.

By displaying 100% recyclable thinking, we're on a continuous journey to create sustainable solutions that lead to positive changes to the environment, organisations and our industry.

Our Experience

Think has over 20 years of experience in delivering thousands of retail display projects for leading Australian companies.

The business is led by Managing Director, Michael Cromer, an expert in growing brands at retail and Brett Dalley, General Manager - Operations, one of Australia's leading structural design and print specialists.

There is no such thing as ‘away’. When we throw anything away, it must go somewhere.

Our Story

Think Display

was founded by Michael Cromer in 2016 after his three young children implored him to live more sustainably and plastic-free. With over 20 years of experience in delivering thousands of retail displays for leading Australian businesses, Michael found himself rethinking sustainability at work...

Cardboard POS displays are recyclable, aren't they?

After consulting with the waste management industry, Michael found that although temporary cardboard POS displays sound recyclable, they end up in landfill due to their common use of plastic clips, strips, toxic inks and polypropylene laminate.

It all started with a tiny plastic clip

To make a positive environmental change, Michael worked with Think's General Manager - Operations, Brett Dalley, to find a solution. A structural designer and print expert, Brett began with the tiny plastic clips that make it quick and easy to build POS towers in store.

The Think team invented the world's first repulpable EcoKlip™, and this small change alone is destined to save 216 million pieces of plastic clips going to Australian landfill over the next decade.

Small steps for big change

Today, every element of a Think Display tower is 100% recyclable, bearing an educational marque that makes it easy for retail stores and POS warehouses to act responsibly.

Recognising this is only the beginning of the journey, Think Display has invested in manufacturing in China to control production transparency and social impact better.

Committed to the long haul

To bring the industry along on the journey, Michael and Brett established the Sustainable Display Alliance. The Alliance aims to make 100% sustainable and recyclable displays the new norm by working together with global companies, organisations, manufacturers and individuals to set and continuously improve the Temporary POS Display Sustainability Standards.

Think Philosophy

01

Think Sustainably

We believe small steps lead to big changes. By always thinking sustainably, we're on a continuous journey to create solutions that lead to positive changes to the environment, organisations and our industry.

02

Think Differently

Just because it is doesn't mean it should be. Thinking differently changes behaviour, and that's what makes a difference. Whatever your brief, there's a sustainable solution, and we work tirelessly to find it.

03

Think Quality

Being sustainable doesn't mean compromising on quality. Our goal is to create recyclable display solutions that work better than landfill displays. Because they get the job done for our businesses, our people and our planet.

04

Think Partnership

We play a small part in your bigger corporate sustainability story. By understanding your sustainability goals, we work together to help you achieve tangible differences that help reduce your environmental footprint.

05

Think Global

When we throw anything away, it must go somewhere. If every business and temporary POS display manufacturer works together to become 100% recyclable, think what we can achieve for our planet. We champion our cause at a local and global level through the Sustainable Display Alliance.

Let's make a difference together —
for our businesses, people and planet.
